IBPS Clerks-VII Examination Process 2017-2018:
The online exam will be held in two stages, Preliminary and Main. Candidates that will qualify in shortlisted and preliminary examination will have to appear for Main examination. Based on the vacancies to be filled in during the year 2018-19 according to the business needs of their banks and as they reported to IBPS.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS CWE Clerks-VII year of 2017 – 2018:
- Nationality / Citizenship: Citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan Refugee (a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India except Indian citizen)
- Age (As on 01.09.2017): Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years
- Educational Qualifications: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Computer Literacy: Ground knowledge of computer and operating system.
All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the final result should have been declared on or before 03.10.2017

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.

The above tests except the Tests of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)
Here’ll be penalty for incorrect answers. For each question for which a incorrect answer was given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to this question will be deducted as punishment to arrive at fixed score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no response is marked with the candidate; there’ll be no penalty for this question.
The marks allotted for Main Examination are 200. Marks will be converted for Provisional allotment from 100. A candidate be high in the merit to be considered for subsequent allotment procedure, details of which will be made available on IBPS site and should be eligible for the CWE online Main examination.
On conclusion of the principal Examination, based upon the state/UT wise vacancies to be filled in during the fiscal year 2018-19 according to the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allocated to one of the Participating Organisations, according to merit-cum preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt.

Allotment shall be performed on the basis of deductions that were closing to be reported by the Participating Organisations.
