Ques. What is new in IBPS PO exam pattern? Is it similar to SBI PO exam pattern?


Ans.  the  new exam pattern would be similar to SBI PO pattern. However, this change would only be observed in the main examination. The time duration of the main exam will be increased.

Ans.  Coding-decoding, Blood Relation, Machine Input-Output, Alpha Numeric Symbol Series,    Inequalities. An aspirant should start preparing 100-150 question daily from each section.

Ans.   An individual needs a good reading speed to crack this exam.  The English section has many questions such as jumble word, fill in the blanks, error question, omitting etc. there  are some high scoring and you need basic grammar to answer these questions

Ans.  Every student needs to learn tables till 20 and formulas on their finger tips. Ans.  There is an online exam for both mains and prelims.

Ques. What will be the exam duration for the preliminary and main examination?


  • For prelims exam the total duration of the exam is 1 hour.


  • For the main examination, total duration of the exam will be 3 hours and 30 minutes. The 30 minutes will be for the descriptive exam of letter writing and essay.




Ques. What is the ideal number of attempts in the exam to clear the cut-off?


Ans.    One should focus on 50-60% of questions in each section to reach the overall cut-off and crack the exam
