So if we compare the position is same for both IBPS as well as SBI but the SBI PO is slightly more difficult than the IBPS PO.
The SBI PO is considered as the largest bank exam but it is very subjective. As comparision to IBPS the SBI PO is more difficult to crack because the main reason is the number of vacancies. The vacancies in SBI is less in comparision to IBPS.
IBPS is responsible for recruitment of the eligible candidates who can work for public sector banks in India. They conduct the IBPS PO every year to recruit POs for public sector banks .
While SBI is a banking branch itself and SBI conducts the exam for SBI PO every year to fill the vacancies in various branches of the .
The differences between IBPS and SBI –
SBI: A PO in SBI Banks is designated as Jr. Management Grade-1 Officer for 2 years of probation period.
IBPS: the candidate works as IBPS are designated as Officer Scale-1 or Assistant Manager for 2 years of probation period.
PO in SBI are paid BY 4 extra Increments at the time of joining but IBPS candidate don’t get this type of any extra increment.

Apart from these , the selection round consists of two more phases – GD and PI
IBPS PO the Personal Interview is of (100 marks), while in SBI it is GD of (20 marks) and Personal Interview of (30 marks).
